No trendy hipster stuff here. Only perfect service in a characteristic atmosphere.
This is Haarlem presents our top 4 of classic pubs in Haarlem
Koops – Damstraat 4
A personal favorite, because of the attention to detail here. Nice old bar, with lots of regulars everybody knows by name. They serve nice tapas, in case you get a bit hungry.
In den Uiver – Riviervismarkt 13
Beautiful interior combined with excellent service. On the menu: multiple beers on draft or bottled, wines by the glass and over 50 types of whiskey. The meat/cheese platter is recommended!
De Blauwe Druif – Lange Veerstraat 17
De Blauwe Druif is a pub in the same tradition as Koops and De Uiver. This is a pub with some history: it first opened its doors in 1863. Back then, they served mostly coffee. Today, the focus lies on beautiful beers and wines.
‘t Kantoor – Gierstraat 78
Located in the southern part of the city center, this café is a perfect place to end your day of shopping. Choose one of the 12 beers on draft and let everyone pass you by while you relax on the small terrace in the evening sun.
